What came first…..The Chicken or the Egg? |

Well thanks to the generosity of Brinsea Products Ltd the incubation specialists and Jakes at Tri-Lakes (Yateley) who have kindly donated Cranford Park Primary School a brand new incubator and several chicken eggs the children of Cook Class will be able to decide for themselves as they will be able to observe the wonderful process of hatching beautiful baby chicks from well cared for eggs and from within their class room environment!

This year the Friends of Cranford Park have already donated hundreds of pounds to Cranford Park to fund two very significant purchases. As they did last year the PTA have funded this years subscription to Education City. Education City is an online learning tool that the teachers in school sue to help the children learn various Maths, English and Science Activities. The website gives children the opportunity to learn online through a variety of engaging games. Education City is used across the school from Cook Class to Earhart! Thank you!
The friends association also paid for a travelling theatre company to come into school and perform a panto! This year we had Pinocchio and the children really enjoyed it! "Oh yes they did".

Thank you to everyone who supported us at the Christmas Fair. It was, as ever, a popular event. The hall was packed with people and there was a real Christmas atmostphere. We are currently working out what we raised. Check back soon to see the grand total. |
