Welcome back to the Spring term! We had such a busy end of the term, so much Christmas fun but it didn’t stop all our learning. Some of our favourite things from last term were:

Our swimming lessons at Yateley school. We all did so well and the swimming teachers and our own teachers were so impressed with our progress.

Our visit to the Panto, Aladdin Trouble. We had so much fun – oh yes we did!

We also loved creating our pneumatic prototypes in Design Technology. Here are a few examples.  

We are looking forward to another busy term, we are going to be writing a narrative based on the story and short film The lost thing. We are then going to be moving on to the book The Island.

In Science, we are looking forward to lots of investigations about temperature and changing state. We are going to be creating a delicious soup in DT and finding out about Italy in Geography. We are loving exploring the world at the end of the day, using Atlases to find the country of the day in Globle and it is really helping us (and the teachers) develop their knowledge of the world.

We will also be celebrating Internet Safety in early February and after the success of our class assembly last year, watch this space for the date of our new assembly to discuss the importance of Artificial Intelligence and how we can use it safely!
