School Data
We are mindful that Maths and English, as assessed Nationally, are just part of the education that we provide. Our teachers assess children termly across the full curriculum, so as to allow children with strengths in other subject areas to shine and to ensure parents have a full picture of their child's education. From the end of Year one, the termly assessments in Maths and Reading are supplemented by test results which support teachers and school leaders to track the progress of each child.
At the beginning and end of their Reception year, children are assessed by their teacher, who is supported by the provided national assessment materials.
In Year One, children sit a national ‘Phonics Test’ at the end of their first year. Our phonics test results for the past few years are given below:

Children in Year Four are tested on their knowledge of multiplication tables at speed. The table below shows how our children got on in this test. We are currently introducing a new times table reward programme to encourage our children to learn all their multiplication tables in order to become diamond champions!

At the end of Key Stage 2, pupils are assessed in Maths and English against the criteria set by The National Curriculum. This will involve teacher assessment, but is also measured by the statutory Standardised Tests (SATs) in Maths, Reading and EGPS (Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling). The link below takes you to our results in the KS2 tests.

For a more comprehensive and detailed view of learning, progress and attainment in our school, we would advise a visit to our school to discuss this more fully with the headteacher.
